Your data, handled kindly
We collect the least we can get away with, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted whenever you like. Here is exactly what happens to it.

What we collect
Only what we need to send you fermented things and answer your emails. Nothing more.

Why we process it
Three simple reasons: to fulfil the contract when you order, to comply with Swiss accounting and food-safety law, and, for the newsletter only, because you gave us consent.
We do not build advertising profiles. We do not do behavioural retargeting. We are two people with a fermentation kitchen.
Who we share it with

Swiss Post / delivery partner: your name and address, to deliver the Box.

Our payment provider: to take payment securely.

Wix, our website and newsletter provider: your email and first name for the newsletter if you subscribed, plus the data needed to run the site.
That is the whole list. We never sell or rent your data to anyone, for any amount of money.
Cookies
We use the minimum: essential cookies to keep your basket and login working, and privacy-friendly analytics to count page visits. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
You can block cookies in your browser. The basket will get forgetful, but the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: 10 years, as Swiss commercial law requires. Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Support emails: 2 years. Analytics: 14 months, aggregated.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the GDPR where it applies, you can ask us to:

How to do it
Email hello@ragi.ch with what you would like. No form, no formal language needed. We answer within 30 days, usually within two.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Payments go through a PCI-compliant provider. Access to customer data is limited to David and Sara. If a data breach ever affected you, we would tell you directly and promptly, not bury it in a notice.
