Terms & conditions
The rules of the house, written like humans wrote them. Ordering, delivery, subscriptions and what happens if something goes wrong.
Last updated · July 2026
Who we are
Ragi Sàrl, Route de la Claie-aux-Moines 256, 1090 Lutry, Vaud, Switzerland. Run by Sara & David. Reach us any time at hello@ragi.ch or +41 21 791 01 08.
Commercial register & VAT no.: CHE-325.120.923.
These terms apply to every order placed through ragi.ch, at our markets, or by email. By ordering, you accept them. We keep them short and readable on purpose. If anything is unclear, just ask.
Our products
Everything we sell is alive and unpasteurised. That means it keeps changing in the jar or bottle, and that flavour, colour and fizz vary from batch to batch. This is a feature, not a fault.
-
Seasonal flavours change every 3 months. We cannot guarantee a specific flavour will be available. You choose the product, and we choose the season's flavour.
-
Photos are illustrative. Hand-drawn labels and hand-packed jars mean small visual differences.
-
Our kombucha contains 0.5%–1.2% vol. alcohol and is classed in Switzerland as an alcoholic beverage under 1.2%. We do not sell it to under-16s.
-
Tempeh is made fresh to order every weekend and is not pasteurised.
Prices & payment
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT included at the applicable Swiss rate. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, TWINT, PostFinance and Apple Pay. Payment is taken when you order. For subscriptions, payment recurs automatically on your billing date until you pause or cancel.
Delivery
We ship anywhere in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We do not currently ship internationally.
Option | Cost | Time |
|---|---|---|
Everything ships at ambient temperature and must be refrigerated immediately on arrival, since it is all alive. We ship once a week, usually on a Monday, though now and then we are forced to send later in the week. This is because we make the tempeh fresh at the weekend and to order: if you place an order on a Saturday or Sunday and we run short of tempeh on Monday, your box may have to wait until the following week. If you are going away, or need your order to arrive before a particular day, please drop us an email or a WhatsApp and we will do our best to work around it.
One small thing
We cannot be held responsible for a Box that sits unopened at a pickup point for days. Living food does not wait patiently.
How it travels
We ship with Planzer. They usually collect the boxes from our coldroom in the late afternoon and deliver the next day.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are flexible and commitment-free. To skip a delivery, suspend or cancel, just send us an email and we will take care of it.
-
The day you receive your fermented goodies depends on the day you subscribe. If you subscribe on the 10th, for example, you will usually receive your box on the first Tuesday after that.
-
Cancelling stops all future payments. We do not refund a box already dispatched.
-
Subscriber discounts apply only while the subscription is active.
Returns & the right of withdrawal
Under Swiss law there is no general right of withdrawal for online purchases, and in any case our products are perishable living food that cannot be returned once dispatched.
That said, if something arrives damaged, leaking, or clearly not right, we replace it or refund it. No forms, no arguing. Email us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we will sort it out.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of your order, to the extent permitted by Swiss law. We cannot and do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Please read the storage advice on each label and product page, since living ferments need refrigeration.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised or have a specific medical condition, please check with your doctor or midwife before consuming unpasteurised ferments.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of Ragi Sàrl, in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction that Swiss consumer law reserves for you. If any clause turns out to be invalid, the rest still stands.
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the day you order.
